Took the 5:42 into the City, and A Crazy, Solid Testimony of the Atonement

Hey guys!

So, this morning was our temple morning. We don't have a car in this area, and the elders in our district who have a car weren't able to give us a ride down . We woke up super early and got ready, then walked down to the FrontRunner station in Farmington to catch the 5:42 train to SLC. The schedule changed about a week ago, though, and we were off by two minutes and just barely missed the 5:42. We waited around another half hour and caught the next train to the North Temple station. From there we took Trax to temple square, and finally made it to the temple. It's been a long day so far. It's 10:15 and I've been up for six hours already. Taking a field trip to the city is always great, though, and riding UTA is always fun, and the best part is we got to be in the temple.

I love all you guys! Work in this area is a little slow, but it's coming along. There's a guy we're working with named {}, and he's pretty awesome. He's probably in his early sixties and he's hilarious . He's worked in theater most of his life, and I can totally see that. He {had some problems}about a year ago (I think) but is in the process of coming back.  He's got a crazy solid testimony of the Atonement. I've loved working with him and I know he's just a good guy that made a serious mistake (I don't know what it was, because I felt it wasn't important what he did, but more so that he repents and comes back). He's extremely humble and repentant and he's super solid. I've absolutely loved getting to work with him.

I know that this work is true. I know that God loves us, and that the Atonement is real and that it's powerful. The church is true.
